Virtual Academy Director, Jay Rotert, received the Sandite Pacesetter Award at the Board of Education Meeting on Monday, August 5th. Executive Director of Secondary Curriculum, Sean Beard, said, "Jay devotes a great amount of his time and effort to organizing and managing the virtual academy. He works hard to ensure the success of his students and stays informed of the changes regarding the state of virtual education not only in Oklahoma, but across the country. He is a valuable asset to his students , parents, and the district.
