CPHS Project Lead the Way PBS/HBS students had the honor to attend a Tulsa Town Hall presentation at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center November 16th, 2018. The speaker was Dr. Lisa Genova. Genova has written five bestselling novels that help readers understand and feel empathy for people with Alzheimer's disease (Still Alice), traumatic brain injury (Left Neglected), autism (Love Anthony), Huntington's disease (Inside the O'Brien's), and ALS (Every Note Played). Still Alice was made into an Academy Award-winning movie staring Julianne Moore and Kristen Stewart.
