LAFS Students

On Monday, December 3rd, the School Board awarded the Sandite Spirit Award to Kaitlyn Gurley and Hunter Cathey for their efforts in raising awareness and funds for the Shop with Cops program.  Both students, who are part of the Life Applications for Students (LAFS) program at CBMS, were nominated by teachers Coy Caviness and Brad Ehmke.  Mr. Caviness stated that, "both students have been committed all semester long to ensure that children in the Sand Springs community and school district have a holiday to celebrate".  Pictured from left to right are Coy Caviness, Kaitlyn Gurley, Board Member Rusty Runn, Hunter Cathey, and Brad Ehmke.
