Homework Help

Here at Central Ninth Grade Center, teachers are always available for tutoring students. We want ALL students to succeed. Students need to contact their teachers to find out what times tutoring is available. The Tulsa City County Library also has great tutoring and homework websites. We encourage all students to get a local library card. Resources are endless at libraries!

Central Cafe

Central Cafe is located in the Central Library Media Center. Students are allowed to purchase cappuccino or hot chocolate for 1.00. The purpose of the cafe is to allow young adults to have an inviting atmosphere and to have a place to read for pleasure. All of the profits from the cafe go right back in to the library. The kids are enjoying the cafe and book circulation is high!

Cafe Expectations

  • Students must have a cafe pass to buy cappuccino
  • Students cannot take drinks out of the cafe area
  • Throw trash away and clean up spills
  • Pour liquid out before placing in trash can

What's Happening in the Media Center

I want to thank the community for passing the bonds. Our media center has improved drastically. Our technology is up to date, our books are newer and more reliable, our shelves are sturdier, and the library looks better! The kids are in here everyday reading, listening, researching and becoming lifelong learners. Feel free to view the progress we have made. Come by and check it out sometime!
