Welcome to the Library
The mission of the library is to ensure that all Charles Page High School students are effective users of information and ideas. To do so the library supports the curriculum of Charles Page High School by providing access to current information resources and to excellent literature. We encourage students, teachers, and staff to use the library often for informational needs as well as reading for pleasure.

SIRS Researcher
The library provides students and staff with a variety of print and non-print materials. Special collections include a college and career resource center and an African American studies area.
Books - An extensive collection of fiction, nonfiction, and reference books.
Newspapers - Tulsa World and the Sand Springs Leader.
Periodicals - Over 30 different magazines are available to students and staff. In addition, the library subscribes to magazines, journals, and newspapers from online services.
Audio Visual Materials - A catalog of current videos and other audio visual materials is available to CPHS staff.
Charles Page High School Yearbooks - The library is home to Charles Page High School yearbooks dating from 1948 to present.
Computer Programs and Library Databases
Library Catalog - Looking for a book? The catalog, called "Destiny" on the computer desktop, allows users to search by title, author, subject, series, or keyword.
EBSCO - Comprehensive online collections of full text articles, searchable databases and a kids-oriented service called Searchosaurus.
Grolier Multimedia Encyclopediais an online encyclopedia that also includes Encyclopedia Americana, The New Book of Knowledge, The New Book of Popular Science, and Lands and Peoples. Each month, hundreds of new and updated articles are added to the program. Additional features include an atlas, yearbook, news, and timelines.
Oklahoma Career Information System, an online Oklahoma and national career database, offers quality, up-to-date information about work, education and training, and financial aid. OKCIS is written especially for Oklahoma students and adults.
SIRS Researcher provides thousands of full text articles on a variety of social, scientific, health, historic, economic, business, political and global issues. Features include "Today's News," "Maps of the World," "World Almanac Excerpts," "Spotlight of the Month," and "Directory of Publications". Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
