Sand Springs Public Schools

CNGC Science and Aeronautics teacher, Sherri McKibbin nominated several students for their hard work on their recent aircraft projects.  The School Board recognized the group at Monday evening's school board meeting by awarding them the Sandite Spirit Award.  Pictured from left to right are CNGC Principal JJ Smith, students Caleb Woodmansee, Morgan Eubanks & Gwydion Burns, and School Board President Jackie Wagnon.  Also awarded, but not pictured are Wayne Thornburg, Jr. and Victoria Castro.  The curriculum for the Aeronautics Class is provided by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
