Sean Kuehn Received the Sandite Spirit Award

Sean Kuehn, junior at Charles Page High School, received the Sandite Spirit Award at tonight's board of education meeting for his recent acceptance onto State Superintendent Joy Hoffmeister's student advisory council. Kuehn will represent the Sand Springs School District alongside 99 other students from across Oklahoma.

Counselors at Charles Page High School encouraged Kuehn to apply, and along with a recommendation from Sand Springs Superintendent Durkee he filled out an application and was chosen to serve. Kuehn said he is excited to serve and have the chance to be the voice of the Sand Springs School district to this council.
