What is the best thing about working in the Sand Springs school district?

My favorite thing about working in the Sand Springs school district is the hometown pride. I love that we live in a small town that still has small-town activities like the homecoming parade. I love the camaraderie among the staff and the unified vision of Charles Page High School.

What advice do you have for high school students?

You can change the course of your life with just 15 minutes of committed activity a day. Make goals, then surround yourself with people who have similar goals. Encourage each other to achieve them.

Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?

Brazil. The people are warm and welcoming. It is a very large country with amazingly diverse wildlife. It also has many stunning geologic features such as the widest curtain of water in the world.
