Tell us about yourself.
I'm a second generator Sandite, my dad was in the class of 71. I went k-12th grade here in SS. Moved away to go to college did some traveling around the country and Europe. Came back to SS met my now wife Cristal and got married. A few years later we had two wonderful kids. We have a son Christian 10 and Gracie 3. They are the light of my life. I'm a huge science fiction fan and I like to read physics books for fun.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
I like playing soccer with my son.
I go to flea markets and collect LP's and vintage science fiction toys like Star Wars, Battlestar Galatica, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon ect.
Going to Comic Cons.

What/who inspired you to become a teacher?
Robie London 5th grade Garfield. She was the first teacher to notice I had a thing for art and encouraged me in my art.
Edward James Olmos in the movie "Stand and Deliver." A few years ago I got to meet and sit down and talk to Mr. Olmos about how I watched that movie and thought if I had a teacher like that I would've done better in school. So I decided to become that teacher for someone else that struggled though school.
What advice do you have for high school students?
High School goes by so fast so don't stress the small things. Most of these people you are around you wont speak to after graduation. Enjoy the ride and work on your plans B,C and D for tomorrow.
