Sand Springs Schools has a yearly competition called "Battle of the Books" each elementary school has students who compete. Students read the same 10 books and then answer questions about the books. Garfield students from left to right Eva Perdon, Khloe Johnson, Trinity Betchan, and Ryah Jordan competed this year. Garfield tied for 5th place.
