At the March Sand Springs Board of Education meeting, the board presented the Sandite Pacesetter award to Ms. Stephanie McKinney.
Ms. McKinney is a Special Education paraprofessional at the Sand Springs ECEC, and she was nominated by Principal Morgan Douglas. In her nomination form, Ms. Douglas states that Ms. McKinney “goes above and beyond for our students. She completes her duties, covers for teachers who are gone, and fills in for any duty she needs to. She does all this with a great attitude and a willing heart… She’s AMAZING!”
