Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma brought the legacy of one of the state’s most beloved cultural icons to life with its Will Rogers Musical Interactive tour. The show blended lively songs, engaging storytelling, and student participation to celebrate Oklahoma’s own humorist, cowboy, and social commentator. Through colorful costumes, dynamic performances, and an interactive Q&A, students explored Rogers’s journey from rural Oklahoma roots to worldwide fame as a rope trick artist, radio voice, and Hollywood star—along with his enduring philosophy of wit, wisdom, and unity.
