Mini Tech Grant Recipients

Yearbook students and Algebra I students will have some new technology to supplement and enrich their classroom experience thanks to Mrs. Pride and Ms. Holland. Both teachers wrote a Mini Tech Grant for the 2019-2020 school year. The funds to support these mini tech grants come from IT Bond money.

Mrs. Pride received roughly $600.00 worth of camera equipment. Yearbook plans on using the equipment on a daily basis. Mrs. Pride wrote, "we have been using our phones because we didn't have a professional camera. We are beyond excited because everyone will be able to take high-quality photos. This is a game-changer for CNGC's Yearbook.".

With new state standard for Algebra being rolled out, Ms. Holland saw the need for new graphing calculators. Ms. Holland received 10 graphing calculators totaling nearly $1300. Ms. Holland believes these new calculators will help students transition from Algebra I to Algebra II more effectively.
