This week, Mrs. Anderson’s Physical Science students took their learning to the lab (and the griddle!) to explore the Laws of Thermodynamics — through the art of cooking pancakes!
As students mixed, flipped, and watched their pancakes cook, they discussed how energy is transferred, how heat flows, and how chemical and physical changes occur during cooking. It’s one thing to read about energy transformation in a textbook — but it’s way more fun (and delicious) to see it in action!
Science smelled extra good in the halls that day, and students left with full brains and full bellies!
