Mrs. Brice’s Hospitality and Tourism classes took learning to a whole new level today with a hands-on field trip exploring what hospitality really looks like in our own community.

Their first stop was Boulder Coffee, a family-owned shop that welcomed students in for a tour and shared how they create a warm, inviting experience for every customer who walks through the door.

Next, they visited Second Chance Consignment, another locally owned business, where students saw hospitality from the retail side — everything from customer interaction to how local shops help bring tourism into our zip code and why that matters for our city’s growth.

The final stop of the day was Little Venice Restaurant, where students stepped behind the scenes of both the front and back ends of a fine-dining establishment. They learned what sets fine dining apart and how much teamwork goes into creating a high-quality guest experience.

It was an incredible hands-on day filled with real-world learning, and we’re so grateful to these amazing local businesses for opening their doors and sharing their expertise with our students!
