Today, our campus was buzzing with excitement as we hosted Career Day, giving students a front-row seat to what life after high school can look like. During the first part of the day, students rotated through four 30-minute sessions, each focused on a different career path. That means four chances to ask questions, hear real stories, and imagine themselves in a future they may not have considered before.
With more than 100 guest speakers joining us, students were exposed to an incredible variety of professions. Representatives visited from the military, healthcare, education, public service, trades, business, media, technology, culinary arts, law, engineering, and creative fields — just to name a few. From nurses, architects, engineers, and cybersecurity professionals to chefs, tattoo artists, florists, funeral directors, and drone operators, there truly is something for everyone.
Career Day isn’t just about jobs — it’s about possibilities. Our guests shared not only what they do, but how they got there, what education or training was required, and what they wish they had known as high school students themselves. These real-world insights help students connect their interests, strengths, and goals to tangible next steps after graduation.
We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, organizations, and professionals who volunteered their time to invest in our students. Their willingness to share their experiences helped make Career Day a meaningful and inspiring experience for our entire school community.
It’s was an exciting day of learning, dreaming, and discovering — and we can’t wait to see where these conversations lead our students next.
