On February 18th, Family and Consumer Science students engaged in an interactive Cheese Evaluation Lab designed to strengthen their understanding of food science principles.
Students sampled a diverse selection of cheeses and evaluated each based on taste, texture, aroma, appearance, and overall quality. The lab encouraged analytical thinking and meaningful discussion while introducing students to the wide range of products within the dairy industry.
This experiential learning activity allowed students to connect classroom instruction with real-world culinary applications, reinforcing key concepts in a memorable and engaging way.
