Family and Consumer Science classes participated in a family-style soup and salad dining experience on February 9–10 as part of their unit on etiquette and social skills.
During the lab, students practiced formal table settings, proper serving techniques, dining conversation, and respectful etiquette in a structured environment. The hands-on experience allowed students to apply classroom instruction to real-world scenarios, building confidence in both personal and professional settings.
This interactive lesson reinforces the importance of social awareness, presentation, and communication — essential skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
