Charles Page Aviation students recently participated in the inaugural Eastern Oklahoma Regional Aviation Championship held at the MidAmerica Expo Center in Pryor. The event marked the first competition of its kind as part of the Oklahoma High School Aviation State Championship, made possible through a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA) and FlightSafety International.

A total of 29 high school teams competed in the regional event, showcasing aviation knowledge and technical skills. Although Sand Springs did not advance to the state round this year, students gained valuable experience participating in this historic first-year competition.

The Aviation program, which begins at CPFA Freshman Academy, continues to provide students with early exposure to aerospace concepts and career pathways. Participation in events like this highlights the program’s growth and commitment to expanding opportunities for students interested in aviation.
