Dear Sandite Families,
As many of you may know, SSPS secondary school students are shifting to Distance Learning starting tomorrow, Thursday, November 12. At this time, they can return to school Monday, November 30 after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Mrs. Durkee, SSPS Superintendent, explained this in a letter posted on Facebook, the website and sent via PeachJar today.
I want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we will miss our students and to give you some basic information. Students will be able to access live instruction following our typical Friday Bell Schedule. If they are not able to attend class at their scheduled time, there will be a video of the lesson or instructions posted on google classroom. If you need help with google classroom, please email their teacher firstname.lastname@sandites.org. More information is coming tomorrow about internet hotspots if needed.
