Sand Springs Public Schools

At the Sand Springs School Board Meeting for April, the board members recognized the efforts of Windy Garell and the rest of the CPHS Cafeteria Staff.  The recognition comes from a Sandite Pacesetter Award Nomination from CPHS Counselor Sandi Franklin.  Mrs. Franklin wrote that Garell and Staff "are difference makers at our high school".  Collectively, this generous group of Sandites worked with the counseling staff to find a deserving family, to which they donated presents for Christmas.  Additionally, the group recently worked with CPHS to donate caps and gowns for students who cannot afford them.  Mrs. Franklin's nomination closed by saying, "Windy and her staff have made our cafeteria a happy and healthy place for our students to eat lunch and rest.  They always have a ready smile, a willing spirit to help, and a happy attitude.  They are the true definition of Sandite Spirit!".
