While students had a three-day weekend, Sandites employees spent Monday in professional development. Educators spend PD days enhancing their skills, improving their knowledge, and collaborating with peers. In the always-evolving educational landscape, our educators’ continual improvement is crucial to student success.
Sandite employees began the day with the general session to recognize Support Staff of the Year as well as hear from Superintendent Sherry Durkee and keynote speaker Dr. Adolph Brown. Dr. Brown, aka "The World's Greatest Edu-tainer," is an internationally renowned, credentialed master teacher, educational & clinical psychologist, and author. In ABC’s “The Parent Test,” Dr. Brown served as a co-host, parenting expert, and moderator.
