Middle school students present uniformed police officers with a check in front of Clyde Boyd Middle School

Students at Clyde Boyd Middle School are celebrating the season of giving with a worthy cause. Led by teacher Coy Caviness, the Life Applications for Students (LAFS) classes raised over $3,000 for the Cops and Kids program at the Sand Springs Police Department.

The Cops and Kids program provides Christmas gifts to children in need, who might not receive gifts otherwise.

The LAFS class gives students opportunities for service projects, demonstrating true quality of character and leadership attributes.
