At tonight's Board of Education Meeting, Agriculture (AG) teachers, Randy Evans and Jason Anderson, were presented with the Sandite Pacesetter Award for their excellence in leading students to be generous and service-oriented citizens.
Superintendent Sherry Durkee nominated the two Charles Page High School teachers for their recent service to patients at the Cancer Treatment Center in Tulsa––students made blankets and hand delivered them to patients. Among all the other competitions and training the students do, Evans and Anderson make service a part of their curriculum.
