Elementary: Insurance will be taken at each Meet & Greet night.
Parents MUST accompany Students to sign paperwork for Chromebook Checkout
The SSPS Chromebook Protection Plan is $30 for secondary students and $10 for elementary students. Parents can pay with Cash or Card at the checkout events. Once school has started, the insurance fee can only be paid for with cash.
Families that do not have home internet have the option of checking out a KaJeet Hotspot if their student(s) is placed in a distance learning situation. The KaJeet Hotspots are designated for educational purposes and have filtering parameters placed on them that block all social media and video /music streaming service websites. At present, DLM hotspots will be set to deactivate when students return to school on Monday, November 30th.
Secondary Hotspot Checkout
Secondary Hotspots can be checked out at the school site that the student attends between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM on a regular school day.
Elementary Hotspot Checkout
Elementary Hotspots can be checked out Thursday, November 19th between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM and Friday, November 20th between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the old CNGC attendance office, the same location for Chromebook repair drop-off.

Distance Learning Chromebook Repair
If your student's Chromebook is damaged during distance learning, here is the process for submitting that device for repair:
During the school day:
Devices can be dropped off at the school site that your student attends from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Devices can be dropped off for repair at the attendance office the old Central Ninth Grade building
(14 W. 4th St. Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parking can be found across the street from the old CNGC.

The Sandite IT Helpdesk will be closed from Wednesday, November 25th through Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Helpdesk will be available again at 7:30 AM on Monday, November 30th.
