Limestone Technology Academy educator Barbie Jackson has been awarded the 2023 Oklahoma Medal for Excellence in Elementary Teaching.
This prestigious award from the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence “recognizes public school educators for their passion and innovation, their commitment to professional development, and their extraordinary impact on student learning.”
Mrs. Jackson is one of five educators receiving this award for 2023. Each of the five winners receives a $5,000 cash prize and a glass sculpture.
