At the April Sand Springs Board of Education meeting, the board presented the Sandite Pacesetter Award to Child Nutrition Warehouse Workers Elijah Landes and Steven Loveless. The pair were nominated by Windy Garell and the Charles Page High School cafeteria team for their positive, can-do attitudes. In her nomination form, Ms. Garell writes that the two “go out of their way to make the best of a bad situation, and never make you feel like a bother to them… They make a world of difference in this department, and we appreciation them so much.”
