Students in Mrs. Patterson's Class Sell Lemonade

Earlier this month, third graders at Pratt Elementary went head-to-head in a Lemonade War. Classes competed against each other to sell the most lemonade to the students and staff of Pratt Elementary. Students created different marketing and sales tactics to try to outdo their competitors.

Mrs. Patterson’s class won the contest, but the real winners were the animals at Sand Springs Animal Welfare. The competition wasn’t just a lesson in economics– it was a fundraising effort for the animal shelter. On the final day of school, the classes presented a donation of $289 to the shelter.

Way to go, Sandites! We are so proud of your entrepreneurial spirits and generous hearts.
