Desiree Hall, Kendra Roulet Receive Sandite Pacesetter Award

At the June Sand Springs Board of Education meeting, the board presented Desiree Hall and Kendra Roulet with the Sandite Pacesetter Award.

Ms. Hall was nominated by district employee Dawne Edelman, whose daughter just completed ninth grade. In her nomination form, Ms. Edelman states that Ms. Hall takes special care to alleviate the concerns of parents and students transitioning from middle school to high school. She notes that Ms. Hall “has superhuman powers” for promoting the safety and security of their learning environment.


Kendra Roulet

Assistant Principal Ryan Bivin nominated Ms. Roulet in recognition of her 20+ years of service at CPHS and 18 years of service as the high school’s National Honor Society advisor. In his nomination form, Mr. Bivin writes that Ms. Roulet “has been responsible for advising and overseeing activities, promoting academic excellence, and providing students with the opportunity to be recognized for achievements and contributions to their school and community.”
