Welcome 2023-24 Administrators. Erich Anderson Director Transportation. Austin Brown Assistant Principal Clyde Boyd Middle School. Nancy Ogle Director Sand Springs Virtual Academy. Jay Rotert Principal Pratt Elementary. Lauren Rowley Director Indian Education.

Sand Springs Public Schools is proud to introduce newly named administrators for the 2023-24 school year.

Erich Anderson will take on the role of Transportation director. Mr. Anderson is new to Sand Springs Public Schools, but he is certainly not new to school transportation. He has a decade of experience in transportation leadership, serving public schools around Green Country. We are truly thankful to have his knowledge and expertise in our district.

Austin Brown will serve as an assistant principal at Clyde Boyd Middle School. Mr. Brown is a familiar face, as he has been with the district for 17 years. Previously, he acted as an assistant band director for the middle school and high school. We cannot wait to see what great things he will do in his new role.

Nancy Ogle is another familiar face in a new role. In addition to her current role in district compliance, Ms. Ogle is the new Director of the Sand Springs Virtual Academy. This will be her 22nd year at SSPS, and we are so grateful to Ms. Ogle for her dedication to Sand Springs.

Jay Rotert takes the reins at Pratt Elementary as their new principal. Mr. Rotert has been with SSPS for 19 years. Most recently, he served as director at Sand Springs Virtual Academy. He will continue to serve as the district test coordinator alongside his role as principal. We are beyond excited for his first year as principal.

Lauren Rowley joins us as the director of Indian Education. Ms. Rowley received her M.Ed in Instructional Leadership at Northeastern State University, and she is pursuing her PhD at Oklahoma State University in Curriculum Studies with an emphasis on Native American Education PK-12. Ms. Rowley is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and she minored in Indigenous and American Indian Studies at NSU. We are thrilled to have her at SSPS.

Please join us in welcoming these fantastic leaders in their new roles!
