K.R. and K.W. receive the Sandite Pacesetter Award

Early Childhood Education Center teachers Kari Rockwood and Kasey Wilden received the Sandite Pacesetter Award at the Board of Education Meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd. The day before school began, both Kasey and Kari began to transform  the Special Education Classroom into a General Education Classroom due to the influx of students at ECEC. These ladies woke up thinking they were all set for the year the day before school began... and then their worlds were shaken. They managed this quick change with both grace and professionalism. The kids and families entered the first day of school feeling welcomed; never knowing the work and late hours that Kasey and Kari put in to make the room suitable for kids. They have exhibited true Sandite Spirit and deserve recognition for their efforts.
