As we head into summer break this Friday, one Sand Springs teacher has big plans ahead!
Early Childhood Education Center teacher Whitney Sanders has been named a 2025 Fund for Teachers Fellow. The prestigious Fund for Teachers Fellowship empowers educators to pursue self-designed professional development experiences that enrich their teaching and benefit their students.
This summer, Ms. Sanders will travel to Barcelona for a language and cultural immersion course through the Europass Teacher Academy. She will then visit two dual-immersion schools in London to strengthen her Spanish skills and bring back new strategies to support English Learners in Sand Springs.
