Sandite Child Nutrition will provide FREE MEALS during June 2025 for kids 18 and younger.

Meals will be served at Garfield STEAM Academy. See below for schedule.

You do not have to be a student at Garfield to receive a free meal.

Please Note:

  • Only children 18 years or younger will be eligible for meals.

  • Children 6 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

  • If you are coming with your child, please be ready to present ID.

  • Parents/Guardians cannot pick up meals.

  • The meal must be eaten in the site cafeteria by the child.

  • Meals or food items cannot be taken off site.

The Sandite Summer Café will be open Monday - Thursday, June 2-26, 2025.

Breakfast Served: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch Served: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Meals will be served at Garfield Elementary, 701 N. Roosevelt. Breakfast is from 7:30–8:30 a.m., and lunch is from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The program runs Monday through Thursday on the following dates: June 2–5, June 9–12, June 16–19, and June 23–26. Meals must be eaten on site; only children 18 and under are eligible. Adults must show ID if accompanying a child. No adult meals are served. For more information, call the Child Nutrition Office at 918-246-1430. Decorative elements include tropical leaves, fruit, a surfboard, and a beach scene.
