Last week marked a memorable day in Sand Springs Public Schools’ journey toward its future: students, staff, and community members gathered to participate in a beam signing ceremony for the new 7th & 8th grade building. It was a moment to pause, appreciate, and literally leave our mark on a project that will shape the learning experience for decades to come.
Celebrating Community and Collaboration
The beam signing was open to our whole community, and we are grateful to everyone who attended. From current students and teachers to community members, each signature on the beam represents a person who believes in this investment in our future.
This project, and many others under the Bond 2024 initiative, would not be possible without the support of Sand Springs voters. Thank you, Sand Springs!
More to Come
This was the final beam to be lifted in place for the 7th and 8th grade building. Construction is currently on track to be completed in time for the 2026-27 school year.
