Leading with Impact

Kaitlyn Knowlton received the Sandite Pacesetter Award. Knowlton serves as our District-Wide Prevention Coordinator and has shown incredible innovation in building prevention and intervention support for students across Sand Springs. She recently presented at the OSSBA/CCOSA Leadership Conference. This week, she will present to the Oklahoma Legislature on an interim study on chronic absenteeism. Her dedication and passion for helping students overcome barriers is making a real impact. We’re proud to celebrate her outstanding work and positive example of Sandite excellence!

A Drive for Compassion

The board presented the Sandite Pacesetter Award to Cynthia Meadows, one of our incredible bus drivers for students with disabilities. Meadows goes above and beyond every day to care for her students. Her calm, compassionate response during a recent crisis showed her deep commitment to student safety and well-being. Her smile, positivity, and dedication embody what it means to be a true Sandite.

Serving Our Community

A group of Page Academy students received the Sandite Spirit Award for helping their school on a service learning day. Students rolled up their sleeves and gave their campus some extra love. From trimming trees and bushes to pulling down vines creeping up the building, these students worked hard to make the school shine. It was a great day of teamwork, fresh air, and pride in keeping Page Academy looking its best.

Congratulations to the following students!
