Currently in her 17th year in the classroom, Liston serves as a dedicated English teacher at CPHS. Her impact on our students and the Sand Springs community is profound, driven by a belief that every student is capable of greatness.
For Liston, education is about more than just curriculum; it is about empowerment. Her philosophy centers on the idea that all students, particularly those overcoming challenging backgrounds, thrive when met with high expectations and academic rigor. “There is a sense of accomplishment,” says Liston, “that can only be earned on the other side of hard work.”
