It was a historic day for Sand Springs at the Oklahoma State Capitol! Sandites gathered in the House and Senate to be officially recognized for two extraordinary accomplishments.
Charles Page High School Football was honored for its unforgettable 2025 6A-II State Championship victory, bringing the gold ball back to Sand Springs for the first time since 1966. It was a proud celebration of the players, coaches, trainers, and managers who made history together.
CPHS English teacher Faith Liston was recognized as the 2025–26 Sand Springs Public Schools Teacher of the Year. Watching her receive this well-deserved honor was a wonderful reminder of the impact she makes in the lives of her students every day.
