Jennie Snow receives the Sandite Pacesetter Award framed certificate alongside a board member and administrator at a Sand Springs Public Schools board meeting.

Each month, the Sand Springs Board of Education recognizes the outstanding contributions of Sandites who embody the heart of our district. During the August meeting, substitute teacher and Angus Valley Elementary PTO President Jennie Snow received the Sandite Pacesetter Award.

As a PTO President and proud parent of four district students, Jennie is always going above and beyond. Known for her hands-on approach to community leadership, she regularly organizes key fundraising initiatives, coordinates staff luncheons, and keeps the teacher lounge stocked to support educator morale. Among her most notable campaigns are a highly popular "tattoo the teacher and principal" fundraiser and the annual Angus Valley Truck Touch event in May.

In addition to her PTO leadership, Snow serves as a critical support system for school operations. She frequently steps in on short notice to fulfill substitute teaching responsibilities, commits to long-term sub assignments, and assists with state testing administration.

Congratulations to Jennie Snow, and thank you for supporting our school community!
