A new chapter for Sand Springs Middle School is officially underway!

On September 1, students, families, staff, and community members gathered for a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating the new Sand Springs Middle School. While students have already been learning in the building since the start of the school year, the event gave our community a chance to explore their new school and celebrate this milestone together.

Guests toured the two-story building, including its new classrooms, welcoming courtyard, and cafeteria, which was specially designed and hardened to provide storm protection for students and staff.

Sand Springs Middle School was made possible by Sand Springs voters through the 2024 Future-Ready Sandites Student Investment Plan. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate—and to our community for investing in the future of Sandite students!
