Portrait of Angelia Noel alongside text announcing her new leadership roles with Sand Springs Sandites: Interim Assistant Superintendent for 2026-27 and Assistant Superintendent starting 2027-28.

We are excited to announce Angelia Noel will transition within the district following the upcoming retirement of Kristin Arnold, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Human Resources.

Arnold recently announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2026-27 school year after 36 years in education and 17 years of service to Sand Springs Public Schools.

As part of the transition plan, Noel will serve as Interim Assistant Superintendent for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. She will officially assume the role of Assistant Superintendent beginning with the 2027-28 school year.

Noel currently serves as the district’s Executive Director of Compliance and brings extensive leadership experience within Sand Springs Public Schools. Before her current role, she served as both a middle school and elementary principal in the district.

The transition will allow Noel to work alongside Arnold for the remainder of the school year, providing continuity and a smooth transfer of responsibilities.

We are grateful for Arnold’s dedicated service and leadership and look forward to celebrating her contributions as she approaches retirement. The district is also excited to welcome Noel into this new leadership role as she continues serving Sand Springs students, staff, and families.
