Andrea Brice, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Charles Page High School - Freshman Academy received the Sandite Pacesetter Award at tonight's Board of Education Meeting. Andrea was nominated by her principal Mr. JJ Smith. Andrea recently received the FCCLA Master Adviser Award for her leadership and support of the Sand Springs and Oklahoma FCCLA chapters. JJ said of Andrea, "She does an excellent job of teaching our students the importance of community service and reaching out to make the school and community a better place."
The Master Adviser Award recognizes advisors who promote the organization, operate an integrated chapter with a balanced program of work, facilitate youth-centered activities and keep abreast of new happenings within the organization.
JJ added that it is an honor to have Andrea as a member of the CPHS Freshman Academy. Congratulations Andrea! #BESandite
