Gunnar Casey, Caleb Graham, Reese David, Sammy Naugle, Santana Naugle, and Rhett Zickefoose received the Sandite Spirit Award at the July Board of Education meeting. These young men were recognized for their hard work on the Sand Springs FFA Shotgun Shooting Team. They were nominated by their FFA advisor, Mr. Randy Evans, who stated that they always represent Sand Springs Public Schools with pride. This team has accomplished a great deal, including two wins at the Connors State College State Shootout Skeet Contest, as well as being the third overall team three times.
