Sand Springs, OK—On Thursday, October 21, Sand Springs Public Schools raised $3,000 for Sandite Special Olympics through their fifth annual Monster Ball. The Halloween event featured a faceoff game between the Sand Springs Baseball and Softball teams. Other festivities included trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, hayrides, and more.

The money raised this year is more than twice the amount raised in 2020. “Our annual Monster Ball was an overwhelming success,” says Director of Special Education and Enrollment Carrie Schlehuber.  To those who attended, Director Schlehuber says, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
