At the February Sand Springs Board of Education meeting, the board presented senior Brody Rutledge with the Sandite Spirit Award. Brody was recognized for being selected to the 2023 Oklahoma Coaches Association All State Team as a wide receiver. Once Brody completes his final year at Charles Page High School, he will move on to Northeastern State University, where he has earned a football scholarship.
