Sand Springs Public Schools is accepting bids for the mowing and grounds care at four (4) separate sites within the district. Bids are to be sealed and mailed/delivered to the address listed in the bid package. Sealed bids must be received by Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. Winning bidder must have all appropriate insurance and workman's compensation coverage. This may be awarded per site or on an "all-sites" basis.

Sand Springs Public Schools is accepting bids for an HVAC service contract and preventative maintenance program. This will be for the entire school district for a period of one year, renewable. The bid package will be available on Monday, Jan 22nd and due back by Thursday, Feb 15th. For a copy of the bid package, please email Maintenance Director Mike Bynum at michael.bynum@sandites.org

Dear Sandite Families,
After careful consideration, Sand Springs Public Schools will be OPEN on Thursday, January 18. School will be back in session, and classes will resume their regular schedule.
As we return to school, we ask families to keep a few things in mind:
- According to recent forecasts, temperatures will be in the mid-20s in the early morning and low-40s in the afternoon.
- Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately in warm layers.
- Buses may experience some delays as they carefully navigate their routes.
- To prevent further bus delays, we ask that each rider is ready to board the bus promptly once it arrives.

Sandites, can you believe it's already October? There will be no school October 18-20 due to Fall Break. Parent/Teacher conferences will take place October 16 and 17. Contact your site for more details.
6th - 12th Grade Parents: The deadline to pay for Chromebook insurance is this Friday, September 22nd. 6th - 8th Grade students may pay in person at CBMS with cash only. 9th - 12th Grade students may pay in person at CPHS with cash or credit card. The district is unable to accept personal checks. Parents may pay online through the Infinite Campus portal in the School store.

Last week, SSPS announced new security procedures for football games and other athletics events hosted at Sand Springs.
