At the annual Tulsa Flight Night gala, Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance honored Limestone Technology Academy's Mrs. Barbie Jackson with the Siegfried STEM Innovator Award. This award is given to educators who are finding new ways to impact their students.
As the recipient of both the Elementary School Educator Award AND the Overall Vision Award, Mrs. Jackson will receive $5,000 in grants. She plans to use those funds for 3D printers and hands-on materials for the STEAM Lab at Limestone Technology Academy, as well as attending NASA educator professional development.
